Project Manager, Supplier
Development/outsourcing
Liaison between International suppliers,
purchasing, quality assurance and engineering for the successful transfer of
(79) different printed circuit board assemblies and (300) different harnesses
from the United States to a Mexican manufacturing facility. Provided training to the supplier in the use
of SPC, process improvements teams and military standards for soldering and
assembly which facilitated their certification and contributed to the increased
efficiency (25% to 75%) in just four weeks.
Process Control Engineer, Quality
Assurance
Military projects were radar systems for
Grumman, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force.
Developed and maintained process
improvements and established low cost, yet effective quality and method plans
in accordance with MIL-STD 2000A. Used DOE methodology to control processes for injection molding,
wave solder, SMT, encapsulation, conformal coating and harnesses. Analyzed process failures and recommended
corrective action in these processes through experimentation using DOE
techniques, SPC and military requirements.
